MOA

Family: Macavity (father), Electra (sister), Admetus (“brother”), Lucifer (brother)
Personality: Moa is not afraid to use her sexuality to achieve her hidden agenda. She has found that most cats are susceptible to have feminine charms, often willing to give into her, though all she does is spout empty promises. She will never go that far with a cat especially a tom as she could fall pregnant. She has no want for children nor the desire to reproduce, she finds the spawn of cats adherent so why would she want a brat of her own running about? Besides they would only hold her back and prevent her from achieving her true purpose. She also couldn’t deal with another cat leaching off her power, thinking they had something special and meaningful just because they had spent a night together. How droll. It would very much surprise others to learn that she has never slept with anyone, her seductive prowess gives off the appearance that she has all the experience in the world. But that
is exactly what she wants them to think, with experience comes knowledge, with knowledge comes respect, and with respect comes trust with these things she is able to saw her unwitting victim to do her bidding, offering a promise of the best a wildest night of their lives. All lies of course, but they don’t need to know that. So far no one as caught onto the fact that they will never sleep with her, Moa’s beauty to incising to think clearly. In her mind you don’t need to have had sex to be sexual.
Moa is ambiguous at the best of times, her morality especially so. Whether her true nature is either good or evil is hard to classify as it presents itself as having strong elements of both. Her morality is also something for her to know and for you to figure out … if you can. Moa purposefully keeps her morals ambiguous for the public view as she finds that she can put a certain spin on them to appease an individual or group, drawing them into her web. She also doesn’t believe in any authority other than her own, finding it very easy to break both spoken and unspoken rules, anything to help her reach her goals. She does things her own way, not caring if others agree with her or not, after all they will all be under her reign soon enough. Her actions, even her everyday ones are hard to identify as she seldom reveals the motivations behind them. The ambiguity of her character always intriguing.
As well as the looks, Moa has the brains, putting them into good use when scheming and plotting behind closed doors. Moa’s capacity for logic, abstract thought, memory, planning, creativity and problem solving has been proven over the years with her ability to make things happen both around the tribe and on the streets without having to get her paws dirty. She is also smart enough to know how to avoid leaving a trail, or at least establish some sort of insurance policy, to insure that if you were to ever attempt to sell her out, you would also be taken down with her. Moa is a business woman, she knows how to effectively run a secret organization, able to adapt effectively to any given situation, and understand complex ideas. She certainly inherited her intelligence from her father.
One of the reasons you need to be wary of Moa is her Machiavellianism, meaning cunning and duplicity. Simply put, Moa has a duplicitous impersonal style meaning that while on the outside it appears that she has a deep, strong close association with someone, she actually could care less about them, only interacting with them for personal gain. She has a clear focus on personal gain and acts only in self-interest, she is very cunning when it comes to making deals with others, often creating a loop-holes that the other party doesn’t realize that they exist ensuring that she would reap the benefits whilst the others involved don’t get anything at all. Moa is very sly and crafty, able to do dirty work, whilst putting on a façade of pure innocents, however those who have known her the longest are able to see through it, her cynical disregard for morality makes her all the more dangerous to interact with.
Moa has become quite manipulative over the years, manipulating a situation or cat to her favour. It began with her parents, manipulating them to give her what she wanted, especially playing on her mother’s guilt she almost always managed to manipulate the queen into giving her whatever she wanted, giving Moa the best food, the best den and the finer things in life, often resulting in her mother going hungry or freezing for the night but what did Moa care? She felt no love loss for her, barely feeling any emotional attachment at all. If Moa does not get her way she can fly into into quite a rage, being around her when she does is probably not the best idea as she blames everyone but herself for the mistakes that she is far to perfect to make.
Moa can easily be considered to have a very dangerous personality. You should never trust her, no matter how kind she might act be wary for she can give you the false impression that she actually cares for you, Moa will gather up all the intermit secrets that you have shared with her and use them to destroy and blackmail you. As mentioned earlier, Moa can and will destroy you if you try to take her down, oppose or disagree with her. She believes that her way of thinking is the only way and any oppositions to that will be met with vicious attack (which can and will be violent if need be. Moa is all for stooping to that level, especially since she thinks torture is fun). Moa is rarely flexible in her ideals and therefore is unable to create win-win situations or even maintain the patience to distil conflict. Moa is very comfortable with sacrificing others for her own personal gain and to save her own skin. Everyone is expendable to her, those who have unfaltering loyalty and agree with her completely are safe, but only if they maintain putting complete faith in her. It is obvious that Moa doesn’t hold any loyalties, she treats the tribe and her family like a business, everything has a use until it becomes useless and then it can be easily replaced with something newer and better. She believes that all those who agree with her must love/like her, little does she know most of their “loyalty” is through fear. Imagine how she would react if she found out how they really feel about her.
All in all, Moa comes across as many different things, a chameleon in social society, but no one can deny that she is a strong and confident feline. She believes that she is the epitome of perfection, everyone wants to be around her, be with her, be her. She is also somewhat of an enigma, never letting anyone get to know her true nature, her mysterious ways lead to curiosity and intrigue, which lets her charm and coerce those that she interacts with into doing all sorts of (what she deems to be) fun things. Her abilities to entrance and hypnotise her victims are almost supernatural, some would ever sware that she has inherited her father’s mystic abilities, but this is simply not true.
Moa leads a very privileged life, being the daughter of the tribe’s leader allows her to get away with many things that regular cats wouldn’t. This privilege had led the young queen to believe that she deserves everything she desires and caused her to create a moto for her life:
“I want this, I want that
It’s never enough
It’s like this, it’s like that
There’s always something I want
I want this, I want that
It’s never enough
It’s like this, it’s like that
There’s always something I want
I want this, I want that
It’s like this, it’s like that
I want this, I want that
It’s like this, it’s like that
There’s always something I want”
It speaks to her on a deeper level.
History: Moa was born to Macavity and an unimportant street cat, a result of a revenge fling to try and get back at Grizabella. She spent much of her formative years with her mother, being groomed to act like a leader’s daughter. Moa was quite dependent on her mother, following her around constantly, learning how to hunt and fend for herself. Her mother encouraged the young kitten to establish her independence, believing it would make Moa more confident in life. It worked, and soon Moa was striking it out on her own, if only for a little while. One could argue that her mother’s attempts to get Moa’s independence worked a little to well, as soon her kitten was asserting her dominance over her mother, manipulating her into doing all sorts of things.
Moa knew of Macavity, her mother constantly praised his name, always saying how wonderful he was, but she had only met him a few times in person. Her mother painted a god-like picture of the tom, making Moa believe that she was god-like as well, after all her was the daughter of this perfect tom. Moa also found out that she wasn’t the only child of Macavity, but the third out of four. She didn’t understand why Macavity decided to breed further when he had already achieved perfection with her, but each to their own.
When Moa was in her early teenage years, she was her mother as a weak soul, her hero-worship of Macavity sickened Moa, swearing then and there that she would never become so intensely dependent on one cat or to form such a needy emotional attachment to them. Moa soon broke all connections with her mother opting to go live with Macavity and his newly formed tribe, after all that’s what a leader’s daughter should do. Her experience living the privileged life as Macavity’s daughter led her to become quite cynical of her mother, now viewing her as some random skank from the streets, and she should feel honoured that she was even chosen by Macavity let alone bare his greatest child. Mao also developed a craving for power, believing herself to be the only child worth noting from Macavity’s brood, refusing to acknowledge her half-siblings in the Jellicle tribe. As far as she is concerned, only Admetus and herself exist.
In the beginning of her new life amongst the hench tribe, Moa used to follow Admetus around, observing the way he pushed the boundaries with the authority figures in the tribe, she rather liked his style, but she would never admit it of course, she is far to proud to do so. Like her older brother before her, Moa also soon started to push the boundaries with the other leaders, all the while acting like daddy’s princess whilst in the presence of her father, feigning innocents when told on. While she was no longer living with her mother and as much as she tried to distance herself from her she could not escape the blood relation. She soon considered the old queen as an embarrassment that she could no longer afford to have exist. Moa took it upon herself to make her mother “disappear” from existence, sure that no one would ever miss her. She has never spoken about what happened, happy for the rumours to run wild, using them to insight fear and fuel her reputation as someone not to cross. In reality Moa had it arranged so that her mother would be spotted and caught by the local RSPCA, taken back to the pound to be put up for adoption. She made sure that she kept tabs on her mother, learning that she was adopted and taken to a quaint little village in the outskirts of town.
As Moa got older, she began to gather a small group of cats together, while it is possible that they thought that the group was formed out of friendship, Moa saw and believed differently, in her desire for power Moa saw the new group of cats as her loyal followers and subjects, willing and ready to do her bidding. In hash reality however, there isn't really any group, in her delusions of grandeur, any cat that she has had friendly interactions with are automatically in "the group", however it is very likely that Moa is the only one to believe that this group exists, and in fact she is quite the loner. But don't ever tell her this, you don't want to be there when the illusion shatters. How could she lead without a group of willing followers?
Moa believes that she should lead the tribe when Macavity is gone, and the sooner that happens the better. She hasn’t got anything major in the planning works, she is still testing the loyalties of her following, so for now she acts like daddy’s perfect little princess all the while she is scheming behind his and everyone’s backs. She is not ready to reveal any of her cards yet, but beware, Moa is willing and capable of doing anything and everything to get her paws in the leadership.
