Personality:
Noilly prides herself on being ladylike. She was raised in a mansion, surrounded by luxuries, but it didn't come for free. She was taught and trained on the proper etiquette for everything. She was taught how to behave around toms, and in parallel how to treat queens. Noilly is not a pushover, however, her behavior stems from how they first treat her. If a tom or queen treat her with respect, she treats them in kind. If you treat her right, she's a reliable, dependable and loyal ally. Just because she was taught to be proper, doesn't mean she will lie down and take any type of abuse. When she is out on the town, on a date or with someone, she would expect her date to meet her, and escort her to wherever they went. She chews her food with her mouth closed, and swallows it before she'll speak. She has many mannerisms, and behavioral tics that she will display even in an everyday conversation.
She further portrays herself, in the way she speaks. She is a refined and classy queen, and proves that time and time again. She fully introduces herself when meeting a new cat, and always always let's them know it was a pleasure. She always responds with a "No, Thank you" or a "Yes please". The polite and proper way to decline or accept an offer. And it is always, 'No', never 'Nah' 'Nu-huh' or any other variations; equally she always says 'Yes'; never 'Yeah','Yup', or any other variation. It must also be noted that she calls everyone but close friends as "Mister" or "Miss". Unless she has been given express permission or told to drop the formalities, she will be respectful and call them by a more esteemed title. Noilly is a very clean queen. And yes, while she is always effectively groomed to look suitable for the day; it is not the right type of clean.
By clean, Noilly watches her words. She does not use vulgarity or profanity in any situation. She can use other more meaningful vocabulary to get her point across. Noilly also speaks with confidence when she is holding a conversation. Even if she's not, or doesn't feel confident, she was taught to always give off the impression of is. She only ever pays a compliment when she is being sincere. So if you receive one from her, don't question it. Noilly may just be a bit put off if you question her honesty and integrity. Noilly is a very prompt individual, like there was any surprise there. And if she ever were invited to any sort of get together, she would not be going there empty-handed. While all of her mannerisms, her behavior and her politeness can be appreciated and an asset to her friends. It also makes Noilly horribly predictable.
Some of the traits that Noilly believes are her greatest advantages are often her biggest weaknesses as well. As was pointed out before, Noilly is a dependable queen. She arrives prompt for any meetings or for any prior agreed upon get together's. Her word is everything. There's no way to really prove loyalty and and gain respect if your word means jack. Noilly is true to her word, because she'd have nothing without it. Anything she says she'll do, she'll do. She honors all her debts, promises, and obligations that she tells others. This ensures her honesty, should earn her respect, gives her a reputation for sincerity and proves she can be dependable. That others can go to her if they need something, and can be assured in her word. She is also a gracious queen. Though this is pretty much true of her prim and proper outward behavior. Many believe she is gracious in a condescending way, and Noilly is use to others, especially the Hench cats, misinterpreting her upperclass upbringing. However, Noilly believes her graciousness is not condescending or to purposely isolate herself from 'inferior' beings.
But instead as being kind and courteous. If ever someone needs her help she will offer it. She always thanks anyone for lending her aid, and tries to be kind to others. Noilly figures that you can't really connect with others by beating them senseless, and always attempts to connect through polite words, and kind gestures. When she is talking with others, she is a faithful listener. The way she would want to be treated when she talks about her own life. She will not overshadow the speaker, and will try to gauge their emotions and what they need. And while there are certain tells, Noilly is quite inept at seeing specific emotions directed at her, and also seems to be naive at knowing her own emotions. She nonetheless, does not air her dirty laundry in public. Her problems are hers alone to move through or to ignore and move on completely. Furthermore Noilly believes in the truth as well, and will not hinge all her information on rumors. She takes the time to sift through the flim-flam and get to the heart of the matter.

History:
Priscilla was born a purebred Himalayan queen. She was a beautiful cat, and once she was old enough, she was bought by a middle-class human family. She was given a good life and had been spoiled good and proper by the family's only female child. Priscilla did make a decent connection to the young girl, but her real friend came in the form of another queen named Nyx. Their meeting hadn't been anything special or big. But they had created an acquaintance that soon blossomed into a friendship. Priscilla didn't have any real life altering events in her life, until she was about eighteen. Her humans had come into financial problems. Though Priscilla hadn't realized that was why they were sending (selling) her away.
Being that she was a purebred, she had been sold to a rich upper class family for quite a bit of cash. Priscilla had a hard time being away from the young human female, but she was still young enough to adapt to her new house and her new family. She quickly learned new mannerisms from the cats about the neighborhood, and realized she had to in order to fit in and survive in the new world she found herself in. She still found time to sneak out and meet up with Nyx away from the rich society end. But she never made her disappearance for longer then an hour, knowing how her humans hated when she'd go outside. Eventually, she was trained by them, and when it came down to it, she found out that she was to be one of their breeders.
She came to realize that this acceptable and appropriate behavior in her neighborhood and from purebreds like herself. So she didn't put up much of a fight when she got a few purebred himalayan toms to choose from. Priscilla had two beautiful himalayan litters, before she began to pine for the world outside again. She didn't get to stay with or bond to any of her children for long before they were sold to other humans looking to buy purebreds. After all her kittens had been taken away, Priscilla had found the time to escape from the large house for a while and meet up and catch up with her best friend. While she and Nyx were out on the town, Priscilla ran into a handsome, albeit rough and a bit of a scoundrel, silver tabby named; Asher.
Priscilla returned to her humans, like the good house cat that she was, but she soon made a habit of meeting them for drinks once a week. Once a week turned into more, and more turned into her and Asher meeting up when Nyx was preoccupied with her own affairs. She soon grew to love Asher, and soon he was proclaiming the same. Asher was the only tom Priscilla loved in her life and it tore her apart that she could never be with him. They had one beautiful night together, before Priscilla forced herself to break it off with him. She couldn't risk getting pregnant with some street toms kittens, when she had expectations placed upon her. So she never allowed herself to see him again, and would only meet her friend when she did go back into the city.
Priscilla got back down to business with one of her arranged partners, and once more made her humans happy when she got pregnant again. She was in for a rude awakening when she gave birth to three kittens, and it was obvious that they were not purebreds. The middle boy was still-born and was mostly a silver tabby. The oldest was a boy, and the youngest was a cream colored queen. Priscilla was able to keep her two surviving kittens; one of which was Noilly Pratt. However, as soon as the boy was old enough to be away from his mother, he had run away. Though Priscilla always suspected that her humans had caste him aside, since no one was willing to buy him. Noilly was kept around, because she still looked Himalayan, and many adored her tabby stripped tips.
Noilly was raised with the morals and etiquette appropriate for where she lived. And Noilly seemed to excel faster then Priscilla had, as she had been born into it. She was with her mother and the humans just long enough to develop all her mannerisms and personality from, and get comfortable with the life she had, before it was all ripped away from her. Priscilla had dragged Noilly into the city, for the first time when she was fifteen, leaving Noilly in the dark as to why. However, Priscilla had been sick for a while; due to her humans forcing her to breed too often, and Priscilla had wanted Noilly to meet her father, before Priscilla passed away. The pair had wound up at Nyx's place. Priscilla had asked if she knew where Asher, was but sadly Nyx hadn't talked to the silver tabby in a few years. She did however notice how much pain Priscilla was in and offered her something to ease her suffering.
Priscilla however, asked Nyx to both promise her she'd take Noilly in, and after she did, she begged Nyx to kill her. To give her mercy and peace. Eventually Nyx capitulated and gave Priscilla enough drugs to drift off to sleep and never wake up again. Noilly of course mourned her mothers death, but in private as to not make a scene. (The way she was raised to) Noilly was told that Nyx was her godmother, and that she would take care of her now. She knew she'd never be able to find her big fancy home on her own, and accepted Nyx as her new guardian. She moved on, and adapted to Nyx, Tanatia, and her new home. Not that she'd complain if there had been a problem.
She wasn't super close to Natia, but this was more due to not knowing one another, nor growing up together. Noilly admitted her prim upbringing may have contributed to them not finding common ground, but Noilly still respects her and continues to work at creating a relationship between them. When Nyx had took her in, she and Natia were already part of the Hench tribe, and Noilly got her first taste of being part of a tribe as soon as Nyx had given her a proper time to grieve for her mother. She also began to take an interest in the poultices, herbs and medicines that Nyx and Tanatia did. So Nyx began to teach her as well.
Noilly wasn't interested in the drugs, but excelled at the healing aspects of Nyx's tutelage. And Noilly did try to adjust to the Hench tribe, and even branched out and got a den of her own, when Natia did. She was close enough to seek out Nyx or Natia if she needed them, but had her privacy as well. However, a few years after her mother's death, she realized she wasn't much use to the Henches. Ultimately, their overall goals and her own didn't match up, and she was motivated to leave the tribe. She hadn't wanted to worry Nyx, or Natia, but neither was it polite to leave them in the dark. So she had said her goodbyes, though downplayed it, so they wouldn't think it was forever, and it wasn't. Noilly had no intention of abandoning them completely, she still had a mind to visit.
She had ignored their confused stares, and quietly left the warehouse. Noilly wasn't much better at knowing the warehouse and the surrounding city any more then she had known past her humans front gates. But Noilly was older, and believed she'd find her place eventually. She was not prepared to stumble into the slums, or find herself in a bad situation. Noilly had hoped one of the toms would help her get turned onto the right direction but instead she found herself between him and his friend. The two toms had tried to have their way with her, only she found herself fighting back. Much more then she would have thought she was capable of.
Due to her fighting back, and nailing one of the toms hard between his legs, and scratched enough at the other toms eye to do some damage, the toms had gotten frustrated. Their pride was hurt more then they had been, and they couldn't let that go. So instead of trying to pry her legs open, they began to beat on her instead. Having no training in fighting, and the adrenaline waning from her previous onslaught, she found herself unable to protect herself. Luckily, she was saved. In one moment she was crying out as they landed another kick to her stomach and side and in the next they were laying prone, bloody and unconscious. Macavity himself had saved her, and brought her back to the safety of the warehouse walls. Determined to pay her debt to the ginger tom, a lady didn't skimp out on debts, she rededicated her life and time to the Hench tribe, and now helps Tanatia out in their infirmary, patching up and healing the wounded.
