Sillabub

Family: Macavity (Father) Demeter (Mother) Admetus (Biological Cousin, technically her Brother) Dueteronomy (Uncle) Munkustrap, Rum Tum Tugger (cousins) Electra (Half Sister)

Appearance: As the picture depicts but she does have faint splotches of ginger and gold through her coat that only tend to reflect in the sun or under light. Her black markings are identical to Demeter.



Personality: Strange. Sillabub is hot and cold, one moment she can be joking and having fun and the next second she could be ripping into another cat or being generally destructive. She keeps to herself and puts on a front to others. She likes to lure others into believing her to be a vulnerable and weak cat, but she isn't. She is strong and clever, and while she lacks the mystic powers of her father she inherited his deceitfulness and cunningness. She doesn't like to keep friends unless they are acquaintances that she can somehow utilise at a later time, she lives by the motto, 'Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.' Though she can contradict her motto on occasion as she grows up, she has come to realise it might be nice to have someone to confide in other than Admetus, but none of the Henches tend to speak to her for fear of reprisal from Macavity as they don't trust her to not turn around and make up some lie to Macavity that could see them killed or atleast injured.


Being Macavity's daughter she is allowed more freedom then other cats and uses this to her advantage. She likes to be out exploring and behaves a lot older then she actually is. She likes to go to underground clubs and cause trouble during the nights she isn't in the warehouse or doing odd jobs for her father. Her looks help her to be very deceiving and she uses this to her advantage. She will on occasion throw caution to the wind and if she feels comfortable can be quite the hyperactive and silly cat from which she takes her name from, 'Silly Devil.' She is very close to Admetus as he is her older brother, he has taught her many survival tips and tricks and while Macavity may have questioned her going to the slums with him initially the lessons have paid off and Sillabub is able to look after herself.


History: Sillabub likes to keep her history to herself and doesn't like to spread it around without knowing someone's true intentions, she's not ashamed of her history she just doesn't like to be forced into sharing things she doesn't want to talk about. She is the daughter of Macavity and Demeter. Her mother was pregnant with her when she left the warehouse but didn't want to take the kitten to the Jellicles as she was already skeptical about them taking her in, the kitten was a reminder of Macavity and she wanted to distance herself from him, she was unable to bring herself to get rid of the kitten so she continued with her pregnancy and gave birth to her letting her get strong enough before she abandoned the kitten on the outskirts of the hench grounds hoping she would be discovered, but not before giving her her name. Sillabub was found by Admetus when he was returning to the warehouse and bought to Macavity. Right away Macavity was able to recognise the kitten as one of his own, there was a certain bond he had with her, and he knew just from looking at her markings who her mother was. He wanted her to be bought up as a way to lure Demeter back to him. When Macavity was unable to look after her for whatever reason she was entrusted to the care of other warehouse Queens and Admetus. As Sillabub got older Macavity tended to have less to do with her unless he was needed for something. This has caused Sillabub to start exploring more of her past and exploring more areas of the city.

Sillabub grew up being slightly spoiled and given opportunities other cats in the warehouse didn't get. She was raised by a variety of Queens but preferred being around the older male cats for a reason she could never really explain. Admetus was her favourite obviously as he was her older brother. He would make small references to her mother about how she was so much like her but Sillabub never paid those references much attention, (even though she did file them in the back of her mind for a convenient time,) as she was still angry about being left alone as a kitten. Macavity of course agreed with her that the information that she was his daughter wouldn't be spread around to much and only cats on a need to know basis would be informed as he was worried for her safety as well. But as she grew older he realised he really didn't have anything to worry about as soon as she developed an aptitude for fighting and being cunning. Once she had hit her 16th birthday she began to officially confirm what the other cats had thought all through the years, though by that point most had their own stories made up about her past and how she came to be. 

Sillabub never really had any intentions on meeting her mother for she couldn't remember her, all she knew about her was what Macavity and Admetus had told her, and that wasn't much, but she had heard whispers from other henches throughout the years, and she figured that since her mother never tried to find her anyway she had the same feelings. Occasionally as she hit her teen years though Sillabub found herself watching some of the female cats with their daughters and would be slightly envious of them. Also, when she was really feeling adventurous she would sneak to the outskirts of the Jellicle Junkyard, never closer than the boundary of the neighbourhood, and study all the cats closely coming and going from the junkyard trying to pick out her mother. Now that she's sixteen she has begun to forge her own path and create more trouble for herself, and Macavity, as well as other henches as she gets more and more interested in the way things work and the way other cats tick. She's pretty sure she's going to drive some of the cats crazy, if not already, as she tries to master her trade.
