RUMPLETEAZER

Family: Mungojerrie [brother]•20S•JELLICLE [with Hench ties]•LILY COLLINS•
Personality: Rumpleteazer is determined, and pursues her goals with nothing short of wild abandon. She is strong-minded, thick-skinned, and willful. She is not easily derailed, as she is rarely affected by the words and opinions of others. She does not need anybody's consent or approval to do what she wants. She is blunt and straightforward, so much so that she often ends up inadvertently offending those around her - not that she notices. Offending is rarely her goal. She just does not often consider the views and feelings of others when she is speaking with them. She is a social whirlwind, moving from conversation to conversation without a single glance back. Nothing seems to ever affect her, as she is a powerhouse overflowing with self-confidence. She excels at persuasion and sweet talk, and prefers these over brute force in order to get what she wants.
Her positive traits are also her downfall. Though others cannot put her down, she can quickly hurt herself, thinking of everything she has ever done wrong and thinking herself a failure. Because she is so naturally out of touch with the opinions of others and prefers to focus on her own needs and ideals, she is sometimes seen as cold and narcissistic. She puts others down often, but it is almost never intentional - it is simply instinctual, a way to appease her own lurking sense of self-doubt. She is an utter perfectionist, and gets very frustrated and hurt when things do not go the way she expects them to.
Nobody could ever say that Teazer is emotionless, though, as she does very little to hide her passionate emotions from others. She does not think twice about spilling her heart out to a complete stranger, and finds it easy to feel emotionally attached to others after a short conversation. She craves emotional connections, and is very naturally affectionate, especially with those closest to her. She does not read social cues well, though, so she often ends up making others uncomfortable with how close she prefers to be with others, both emotionally and physically. She tends to be very controlling over her friendships, though, and if others are not acting the way she would like, she does not hesitate to drop them out of her life.
Teazer refuses to be 'nothing' in the world. She knows who she is, and wants nothing more than to make her name known and take pride in where she comes from and where she is going.
History: Rumpleteazer, and her twin brother Mungojerrie, were adopted into a human home too early to remember their mother. Though their humans have always taken care of them very well – spoiled them, almost, despite their rascal ways – Teazer considers Jerrie to be the only one in her life who truly matters. Since they have spent their whole life together, she considers him less like a brother or a friend, and more like an extension of herself, and has always pushed to ensure that he has the best life possible.
The thieving venture was a part of that desire, to be certain. Their life was feeling monotonous to her, and she was sure that Jerrie had to be feeling it as well. Thievery seemed like the most exhilarating option. She fit into the lifestyle with ease, and loved the bond that it formed between her and her brother. Eventually, she realized it was the perfect way to get back at their snobby, rich humans and their snobby, rich friends. The 'Robin Hood' ideals may have come from the guilt she was feeling over the constant stealing, but it was a dogma she thought was fitting for them.
Though she would never admit this to herself, Teazer is jealous that Jerrie was the one who started their business dealings with Macavity. She loved working for him, but she felt like a 'third wheel' throughout the whole situation, as Jerrie seemed to always be the one receiving orders and reporting to him. She did not argue with Jerrie when he started thinking about leaving Macavity's service. Besides, she had been growing bored of the arrangement, and the Jellicles seemed like a fun group. She enjoyed the change for a time, and absolutely loved meeting and bonding with so many new cats, but she found that she really missed the excitement of Macavity's business.
It was not hard to sneak away and speak with Macavity again. Getting an audience with him was a bit more complicated, but he was very receptive when she agreed to continue spying on the Jellicles for him in exchange for odd jobs. It is not exactly a secret. If Jerrie asked, she would surely tell him, after all. It is just not information that she has chosen to share. Now, she is leading a sort of 'double' double life - her double life with Jerrie, juggling the Junkard and petty thievery, and her dealings with the Napoleon of Crime.
