Family:
Father: Keiiji (Unknown)
Mother: Aria, gone (probably dead)
Grandfather: Growltiger (Unknown)
Uncle: Horatio (Unknown)
Personality:
Happy: Alyssa is a very happy cat - almost ridiculously so - and it is quite difficult to get her down about much of anything. She extremely friendly and outspoken, to the point that it can either win her a best friend for life, or a deadly enemy, depending on who it is. She fails to pay attention to when to get in someone's face and make a friend and when to be quiet and leave someone alone. In this way, she's very insensitive, causing her to sometimes hurt herself and/or others.
Talkative: Her favorite thing is to talk and make friends. Talking comes first, so she'll talk your ear off whether you want to listen and be her friend or not. On the occasions when she does make a friend who is patient enough to deal with her, she is extremely loyal and would do just about anything for them.
Extreme: All that being said, she does have a temper behind all that crazy happiness. It's very, very difficult to get her upset - but once you do, you may want to run...she may well start screaming and/or throwing things. She can throw tantrums like a regular kitten.
Pig-headed: She is very stubborn - once she gets an idea in her head, almost no one can talk her out of it; this is bad, since not all of her ideas are good ones. Though she's technically an adult, she acts like a crazy kitten most of the time, which is a problem when she's called on to help with anything important.
History:
Alyssa was born among humans, adopted by humans at a young age, so her whole life up to now has been full of humans. Her mother Aria, whom she barely remembers, belonged to a human family in New York. Aria had not planned on kittens (neither had her humans!), but while on a trip to London with her humans, she left their temporary flat regularly to explore this new city. On one of her explorations, she met a tom called Keiiji. Never having known her father, any brothers, or any mate up to now, she had no previous experience with toms. [Add More]
Hating herself for her naiveté, Aria returned to her humans, having nowhere else to go. Soon, it became obvious she was expecting kittens, and she overheard her humans discussing various details of putting them up for adoption or just taking them to the animal shelter. Only Alyssa survived past a few hours, and as soon as she was old enough, Aria slipped away at night to make her own life on the streets, preferring Alyssa to grow up with her humans rather than be given to a strange family or left to her own devices. She told Aly nothing about her father except that he was "a very handsome tom with an exotic name and a mysterious life." Since her mother never provided a name, Aly had no real way to search for her father - and indeed, no real desire to; the humans were family enough and provided a nice life.
Growing up, Alyssa was content with her human family, but not completely dependent on them. She had a kitty door and plenty of freedom, so much of her time was spent out in the streets exploring and catching mice and rats. One summer, her humans decided to make a trip to Europe. Alyssa accompanied them to their first stop, London, only so they could leave her with a friend, as they'd decided it would be too much trouble to take her with them to all the different countries they would visit. They went on to The Continent, and Alyssa stayed stuck with their friend, who was really quite clueless.
The first chance she got, she dashed past the friend, out the door, onto the streets, intending to wander around while keeping an eye on the friend's home to see when her family would return. She wandered a bit far, however, and came across the Junkyard. At first she was devastated and meant to ask around about how to get back to the house. However, as she wandered the Junkyard and came to realize this place was full of a huge family of Jellicles, she became fascinated and decided the humans could wait a while. Now she has virtually forgotten her human family and pretty much taken up permanent residence in the 'Yard.
